I use the latest professional mirrorless full-frame cameras and prime lenses. But the coolest thing? My cameras shoot completely silently! No more distracting clicks during those important moments! Plus, every photo is saved on two separate in-camera memory cards for instant backup.
And when I'm back home, I back everything up twice more for extra peace of mind.
Are you insured?
I covered by professional indemnity and public liability insurance. Additionally, I am fully DBS checked.
How do we book?
In order to secure your Christening / Baptism date, you will need to fill out the Booking Form on my website and pay booking fee.
How do we pay you?
Bank transfer for the deposit to secure the date and then the remaining amount is due a minimum of two weeks before the Christening / Baptism date by bank transfer.

Preparation:
Before heading to a christening, I meticulously prepare my camera kit, ensuring I have everything I need for the day. This includes two cameras equipped with different lenses for versatile shots, multiple fully charged batteries, and ample memory cards. I also dress appropriately for the church. On the way, I review my notes to refresh my memory on the family's preferences for photographs, ensuring I capture the moments that matter most to them.
Getting Ready Photographs:
If requested, I document the family's preparations before the ceremony, capturing intimate moments as parents and godparents dress the baby in their special christening attire. These photos often include candid shots of the family bonding before the big event.
The Ceremony:
Upon arrival at the venue, I start by photographing the exterior and interior, capturing the unique features and ambiance of the space. I then introduce myself to the officiant, ensuring they are comfortable with my presence and photography approach. Throughout the ceremony, I discreetly capture meaningful details, from the expressions of parents to the reactions of guests, using my experience to anticipate and document pivotal moments.
Group Portraits:
After the ceremony, I always take group portraits of the family and guests before transitioning to the reception venue.
Reception:
Here, I photograph both the exterior and interior, capturing the ambiance and decor. Throughout the celebration, I focus on candid moments, ensuring I document the joy and happiness shared among loved ones.
Backup and Editing:
Upon returning to my workspace, I immediately back up the photographs to ensure their safety. I then carefully review and edit the images, selecting those that best tell the story of the day. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality, I strive to deliver a final product that exceeds my clients' expectations.
